Responsibilities
Lead and control a team for thermal power station operations, maintenance, and repair. Ensure safety, manage O&M expenditure, inventory, and human resources. Report accurately, manage stakeholder relations, and ensure security. Assist with budgets, improve operational efficiency, and supervise work quality. Monitor team competence, provide training, assist recruitment, and coordinate system changes. Monitor performance, ensure spares, manage fuel, tools, vehicles, and general upkeep. Perform standby duties and uphold EFL values.
Requirements
Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering from a recognized Tertiary Institution. Minimum 10 years' experience in power generation (3 years as Thermal Generation Technician) or Trade Certificate with 15 years' relevant experience. Computer literate. Some related qualification or experience in project management.
