Morris Hedstrom Supermarket, a division of Carpenters Fiji Pte Limited, is seeking a suitably qualified and experienced individual for the position of Management Information Systems - Accountant based at our Head Office.
Responsibilities
Compile and analyze monthly management accounts and financial reports. Monitor and report on business performance, trends, and key financial indicators. Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis. Generate management reports for senior management and stakeholders. Ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data within the MIS reporting framework. Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and financial statements. Conduct financial analysis to support business decision-making. Liaise with internal departments to obtain and verify financial information. Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and statutory requirements. Support process improvements and automation initiatives within the finance function.
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline. Minimum 3 years' experience in accounting, financial reporting, or management accounting. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial reporting systems. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and meet strict deadlines. High level of accuracy, integrity, and attention to detail.
