Responsibilities
Oversee daily kitchen operations to ensure quality, consistency, and efficiency. Maintain high standards of food quality, hygiene, and food safety compliance. Supervise kitchen staff, ensuring adherence to recipes, portion control, and brand standards. Manage inventory, stock control, and minimize food waste. Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth service and guest satisfaction. Prepare daily kitchen reports and ensure effective shift handovers.
Requirements
Minimum of 3 years' experience as a Head Chef or in a similar leadership role within a hotel, resort, or restaurant. Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Ability to work efficiently under pressure and manage multiple priorities. Sound knowledge of food safety, hygiene standards, and kitchen operations. Flexibility to work a rotating roster, including weekends, evenings, and public holidays. Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
